Priyamvada Kant was born on 1 January 1990, in Delhi, India, in a Bengali family. Her nickname is Priya. Priyamvada likes to dance since her childhood latter she joined a dance class. She has no siblings. Priyamvada Kant spent her childhood in Delhi, she did her schooling from Raghubir Singh Junior Modern High school, New Delhi after that she completed her college from Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi.

In August 2013, she joined the  The Buddy Project, playing the cameo role of Kamna. In October 2014, she replaced to Nisha Nagpal on Star Plus's Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera.
