Dhokla Recipe - Besan Dhokla Cooked in Cooker 
Besan Dhokla is eaten for breakfast in Gujarat and North India. With easy tempering made in a khaman cooker.

Besan Dhokla is a very popular breakfast in Gujarat. It is also eaten with great interest in Gujarat and North India. We like to eat it in our home, eating it with tea.
Here we are teaching you how to make Dhokla in a very easy way.


   Ingredients

To make dhokla
  •  1 Cup Gram flour
  •  1/2 Cup Curd (Yogurt)
  •  1 Number Green chili chopped
  •  1 Gms Turmeric powder
  •  1/2 Tsp White salt
  •  2 Inch Ginger Finely Grated
  •  1 Tsp Fruit Salt (Eno) Eno in India
  •  1 Tbsp Oil
  •  To make 1/4 Cup Water gram flour solution
  • To make Dhokla Tadka
  •  1/2 Tbsp Oil
  •  1 Tsp Mustard seeds
  •  4 Number Green chili length cut in one of the middle edge
  •  1/2 Tbsp Green Coriander Leaves (Cilantro) finely chopped
  •  3/2 Tsp White Sugar
  •  20 Number Curry leaves
  •  1 Cup Water

Yield 8 medium 2 × 2 inch pieces Besan Dhokla

  Instructions
Make Dhokla mixture - Time - 2 minutes

  1. Add gram flour and curd in a bowl and mix well.

  4. Add 1/4 cup 1 cup = 240 ml liter of water, 1 tbsp oil, salt and turmeric and mix well.
  5. Now add finely chopped green chillies, ginger and 1 teaspoon of sugar and mix.
  6. Now pour one spoon of fruit salt in India in gram flour solution and mix it well for 1 minute.
  7. Add Eno in gram flour solution

  9. Prepare Dhokla utensil - Time - 2 minutes
  10. Take an aluminum vessel and pour oil on its inner surface. This solution of gram flour will not stick to the pot.

  1. Pour Besan solution in an aluminum vessel
  2. This will make the gram flour flourish a lot. Now pour it into the aluminum vessel.
  3. Cook in Dhokla Cooker Cooking Time - 25 minutes
  4. Fill a cooker 25% with water
  5. Place the aluminum vessel over this bowl and close the lid of the cooker. Remember to remove the cooker's city.
  6. Keep the flame on high and let it cook for 25 minutes.
  7. After 25 minutes Dhokla will be closed. Turn off the stove.
  8. Take out the dhokla in a plate.
Cut it into small pieces.
Dhokla Tadka ready - Cooking time - 4 minutes

Dhokla Recipe

Heat 1/2 tbsp of oil in a vessel. Add mustard and after chopping mustard, add curry leaves and green chillies. Keep the stove on the lowest heat.

Now add one cup 1 cup = 240 ml liter of water, 1/2 teaspoon sugar and coriander and cook on high flame for 3 minutes.

Allow the tempering to cook for 3 minutes
After a minute, turn off the stove and spread the tempering on the dhokla with the help of pulses.
Put the tadka on the pieces
Dhokla is ready to serve. Eat it and enjoy it. Thank you.
Allow dhokla to soak up the optional standby time - 10 minutes

Dhokla Recipe

Keep the dhokla aside for 10 minutes. By doing this, the tempering will reach every piece and give it moisture.
After 10 minutes the gram flour dhokla is ready to serve.
